Virtual Playa was originally founded by Steve Moen in 2003. Steve worked with the Microsoft Corporation for over ten years, prior to relocating to Playa del Carmen, and has over 20 years of experience in the technological field. During his time with Microsoft he supported systems and applications for such corporations as Ford, Sony, Wachovia and the US government. He holds a Microsoft Certified System Engineer plus Internet qualification. He maintains familiarity with all current and future technologies, and updates his knowledge and certifications on a regular basis keeping him current and fresh in his field. In addition, Steve surrounds himself with other professionals that are top in their field, which creates a team that is not easily found in today’s globally competitive market.
